Yosemite and Tuolumne Hiker: Peaks, Creeks, and Waterfalls
Give us five days and we’ll take you to the summit of one of the West’s most iconic rock formations, down California’s crown jewel of whitewater rivers, across lush, highcountry meadows and amongst some of the largest living organisms on the planet. The first two days of O.A.R.S.' newest itinerary are spent descending the Wild and Scenic Tuolumne River, spilling from the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra. For days 3-5, local naturalists from Y explore lead us on guided hikes into Yosemite, including a visit to two of the park's giant sequoia groves, a climactic 17-mile hike up Half Dome, and Tuolumne Meadows. All adventures are capped off under a starry night sky as you’ve never seen it before.

Yosemite Sentinel Dome/Taft Point Adventure Hike
This exciting day begins with relatively easy access to one of Yosemite’s 8000 foot peaks while learning about the some of the natural features of the park along the way. From the summit of Sentinel Dome, we will have breathtaking panoramic views of all of Yosemite. We will then travel to discover some of Yosemite's geological wonders, the Taft Point Fissures. The Taft Point overlook presents us with one last spectacular vista before we return. This versatile hike can be customized to be a Gentle, Moderate, or Intermediate Hiking Tour based on your group’s needs.
