WILDFLOWER TOURS
IN YOSEMITE
If you are someone who loves looking at wildflowers, Y explore Yosemite Adventures can create a custom wildflower tour to match your needs. Your guide on these remarkable tours will be David Lukas, co-author of “Sierra Nevada Natural History ”. Please note that each excursion requires a minimum of two participants.
Our custom wildflower tours fall into two broad categories: Specialty Tours that focus on target wildflower species with long stops at each site, and Transect Tours that will introduce you to a full range of Yosemite habitats with shorter stops at each site.

Specialty Wildflower Walk
Find some of Yosemite's many diverse wildflowers with a naturalist on this tour to a region of the park with abundant displays. Tours will last approximately five hours.
Wildflower Tour Prices:
2 people- $300 ($150 each)
3 people- $375 ($125 each)
Transect Wildflower Tours
Spend a day in Yosemite with a naturalist as we transect through the park in search of diverse wildflowers. This car caravan tour will introduce you to a full range of Yosemite wildflowers with shorter stops at each site. Tours will last approximately eight hours.
Transect Prices:
2 people- $350 ($175 each)
3 people- $450 ($150 each)
Outings with David Lukas are offered throughout the year. Please call for his availability or the availability of other staff naturalists.
Private Hiking Tours- All Hiking Tours with David Lukas can be made private by adding $125 to the price of the Hike.

YOSEMITE NATURE EXCURSIONS
Enroll in our Yosemite Nature Excursion Series as David Lukas shares knowledge of his favorite places with individuals eager to explore the natural history of Yosemite. Most Walking Tours will last approximately five hours while the Naturalist Transect will be an all day event. Each excursion requires a minimum of two participants.
