Fall Colors on the Panorama Trail

I am often asked what is my favorite season in  Yosemite, and my honest answer is “the one we’re in”. It’s to the point, and I’m always telling the truth. Autumn is a perfect time for a visit. Every Yosemite experience is different, and our view from the Panorama Trail yesterday was different from the one we had just 2 weeks ago. Yosemite has been splashed with fall colors at every elevation. There’s no better time to go out and explore before the leaves fall for winter. Then we can discuss snowshoeing and other winter activities.
