Announcing Our New Location at Mountain Sage
For the past 5 years, I have had discussions with Robb Hirsch about finding a way to build better relationship between YExplore and Mountain Sage. Robb is a lead photographer for our Yosemite Photo Workshops and his fine art photography prints hang in a gallery at Mountain Sage. We’ve had several discussions over the years, but the timing has never been exactly perfect. Within that time frame, YExplore has spent a little while at two other locations; but the fit never seemed right.
Early this year, Robb and I began to rekindle the conversation about our desire to find a new home in Groveland. A space had recently opened up in the cozy little cottage, and the timing couldn’t have been better. After a meeting with Jess, the proprietor of the Mountain Sage Cafe, I knew we found a welcoming home for YExplore. Jess and Chelsea are highly principled business owners and community members so we feel honored to join into this partnership. I am proud to announce that YExplore Yosemite Adventures will reside at Mountain Sage in Groveland, and we hope to build lasting relationships within the community.
We will have an informational kiosk at Mt. Sage along with some great image displays. Robb has also promised to grace our area with some of his fine art images. If you would like to learn more about some of these images, please visit this gift page. Groveland is only about a half hour from the entrance to Yosemite National Park on CA Highway 120. Mountain Sage has an excellent variety of coffees as well as locally produced breakfast fare. There is also a shop of some locally crafted artisan gifts as well as Robb’s gallery. Outside, there is a wonderful nursery and concert stage with performances throughout the summer. We are so excited to add some positive energy to this magical place and look forward to your visit.
